The most delightful gift shop with a great collection of cards.

I love this little shop and always go there to support local businesses..but I have to say the lady upset my step mum so very much .. she accidentally knocked a bauble off the shelf and it broke! We were asked to pay for it which we were happy to do but it was the way it was asked .. loudly and a little abruptly in our opinion ,& in front of other customers .. my step mum has only just started to go out since covid at 77 and it just upset her for the rest of the day, made her scared to look at anything else so we paid and left … I understand breakages have to be paid for but maybe as a good will gesture at cost???.. and as the shop is small maybe not pack quite so much low down that is fragile?? …I know it’s difficult in a small space…

Extremely rude owner. My partner and I were regular customers here of jellycats and made large purchases but went in the other week to exchange some jellycats after i messaged her to see if this was okay which she replied come in tomorrow and we’ll sort it out. Got there the next day only to be denied when we got there and she spoke to us in the middle of the store like we were children, claiming ‘you aren’t able to exchange stuff anywhere just because you change your mind?!?’ Where everywhere you go you can actually exchange?? She was extremely rude and grilled us in the middle of the shop which was totally unprofessional. The fact she replied to my message saying she would sort it out was totally misleading. Absolutely appalling customer service - she has lost 2 valuable customers and that is not how you run a business.

Lovely little shop. Really enjoyed looking at the beautiful Christmas decorations. My daughter was over the moon with her wrendale duck🦆teddy. Will definitely have to make a return visit.

Brilliant for cards and gifts. Have some different and quirky things. Handy when you have an awkward person to buy for! Owners are very friendly and helpful, and prices are very reasonable. Had some lovely Christmas gifts and cards during December, and the shop was beautifully decorated.
