Nice place food was good well cooked and presented. Staff were pleasant and friendly. We were in a large group and this effect the service as we were upstairs the food needed to be carried upstairs so this effect the service. There was also some confusion with some of the orders. Overall a pleasant experience would have no problem in eating there again when next in the area

Fantastic country restaurant, excellent food and wine and the staff were superb! It was my first visit after my mum Siobhan had raved about it! Huge thanks to all the staff Emily, Beck, Bea, Izzy, Alice, Gill, Damon and Barry. They’ve clearly worked hard to make this a welcoming space with a really warm atmosphere.

We were celebrating a special birthday. A lovely atmosphere and fabulous food that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. I personally enjoyed Spinach & Feta Baklava with Dauphinoise and a side of their stupendous onion rings and a Crème Brulée. Service was attentive and calm when the system failed as we paid our bill. Well-priced for the quality of food. One meal was overcooked so they comped it with good grace and replaced it. All eight of us enjoyed our meals. Lemon posset and bread & butter pudding were sublime. Five stars all round.

Food was good, steak wasn’t anything special. Everybody else enjoyed their meal. Service was very disappointing. The waitress in the pink shirt was abrupt and rude. Served normal coke instead of diet to my wife even after the waitress confirmed. She is diabetic so we have to be sure. So we had to go back and request a change. Forgot a meal and sides which we had to ask for, then the chicken came out in seconds. Also table space wasn’t great, could do with being redesigned as we had to keep moving to let people in and out. Waitress in the pink shirt needs re-training on her customer service skills

Beautiful Sunday lunch with the wife .. cooked to perfection with really attentive service, worth every penny,.always a delight! This time with added pigs in blankets and cauliflower cheese 😉

Very good first visit for us both, all the reviews I read made the decision for me. Attentive staff, generous portions even for "small plate" items, very well priced. Nice simple clean decor and spotless toilets. Free car park next door. Would revisit. Sunday lunch especially

Good quality food, I had a Fillet Steak nice, however I asked for it rare and I wouldn't even call it medium rare which was slightly disappointing. However it is a good place to go for a nice meal, I think that it is the sort of place to book instead of turn up to.👍
