Jo did a brilliant job at designing my garden. She listened carefully to my ideas and produced a couple of designs incorporating them. The difficult part now is choosing which design to go for! I would not hesitate to use Jo's services again in the future.

We contacted Jo to get some ideas for our garden whilst we are in the planning phase of an extension. We wanted to make sure the garden would work well with the house design. We completed a questionnaire and sent through some photos of things we liked. We then had a zoom call with Jo (which was really easy to book through an online portal). During the call, it was clear that she had obviously already spent time reviewing what we had sent and researching soil type, sun conditions. During the call she was very professional, was able to pull out other more subtle requirements and was warm and friendly throughout. She confirmed next steps and dates. The final 3 designs were delivered on time through email with video attachment. We were absolutely blown away with the plans she suggested, we had a preferred one obviously but all 3 met the brief. We all had an emotional response to the drawings as they captured exactly the feeling we had described and allow us to evolve our current garden through time as budget is tight. We are so happy with our new garden that Jo designed for us. There was quite a large space that was in need of some attention and Jo came up with fantastic ideas to improve it for us. We engaged Jo to design a garden for us that was low maintenance, visually interesting all year round, included a wildlife pond and a multi purpose parking space. Our site is small and on slightly different levels. Jo came up with several designs that matched our requirements and we are completely happy with the one that we chose.

Absolutely over the moon with our Jo Hobbs inspired garden design and construction. Jo came to conduct an initial site visit where we discussed what we wanted from the garden. We had some ideas of raised beds and perhaps a pergola but no idea of the best way to arrange that in our garden. We also have a tortoise and two cats so their needs had to be catered for plus a requirement for a small garden shed. Jo asked lots of questions about any plant choices etc and then took a soil sample and measured the garden accurately. We then discussed how much money we wanted to invest in our garden and this was then the agreed budget for all labour/ materials and plants etc. Jo came back to us within a couple of weeks with beautifully detailed designs and plant recommendations along with a link to on-going plant care . We had a further meeting to agree and make slight amendments then it all started in earnest a few weeks later. We had some good weather and some not so good but the whole job was completed in the agreed timescales. Jo even let me “help” (or hinder 😂) a little which was very satisfying and I learnt how to lay paving slabs and a whole lot more. Well the results were for us amazing and we absolutely love the whole garden. We have had several envious comments from neighbours / family and friends alike and now almost a year on it gets better each month. We cannot recommend Jo enough, if you want someone who genuinely cares about the end finish, is a perfectionist and reliable then look no further, thank you Jo
